I voted for "The Outlaw Josey Wales," one of my all-time favorite movies. Reasons: I've always loved stories in which a motley band of drifters become 1) a family and 2) brave. Excellent Civil-War-era soundtrack. Great dialogue (On why not to bother burying the bad guys: "Buzzards got to eat, same as worms." Eulogy for a deceased companion: "I rode with him, I got no complaints.") Chief Dan George. |

Me? I go way back.
My favorite Eastwood roll is Rowdy Yates on the TV show Rawhide. |

The Outlaw Josie Wales: the official fave of Civil War reenactors everywhere!
OTOH, my least favorite Eastwood flick is The Unforgiven. It was actually pretty darn good, right up until the assinine gunfight in the saloon, when Eastwood's character magically & instantly transforms from a has-been outlaw who couldn't hit the broadside of a barn into Dirty Harry of the Old West, who never missses! PUHleeze! |

Well my vote is none of the above. I just don't like Clint Eastwood. Never have and never will. He made his name in those spaghetti westerns but I still don't get his attraction at all. Not my cup of tea. |
