I just got done reading the LOTM script. I got to the part under the falls when Uncas and Alice are kissing and then they "make love." However, after that it kind of seems that Alice regrets it and is kind of mean to Uncas and ignores him. It made me kind of not want that infamous "love scene" between the two. I mean, I just love the innocent, subtleness of their romance. I would have wanted MM to have added a couple kisses and hugs in there..you know, like the puppy love scene that Eric Schweig talked about..but I'm happy that there wasn't anything more than that. I guess what I'm trying to ask is, do you like how their romance is in the movie, would you have wanted the "puppy love" scene that Eric Schweig talks about, or would you want the scene they describe in the script? I am happy with the romance they have in the film, but I would have liked a couple hugs and kisses in there too! lol. What do you all think?

i would have definately liked to have seen maore interaction between the two, but whether or not i would have wanted the love seen, i would have to see (or read) it myself. im not quite sure. like you, i do like their love story the way it is, a little more interaction would've been nice. but a sex scene might not have been so bad either.  where did you get that script? (if you dont mind telling me) i would greatly like to read it, and could probably give a more discrete answer about the love scene if i did. thanx! |

| Go to On the Trail...Home.. and it will send you to a website and there you will find the word "Script" then click on it. And there you can read the entire LOTM script! It's quite nice! lol..I hope I did a good job describing it and if you can't find it, I'll be happy to send it to you. Just email me if ya want it sent to you..my email is Sum41Sweetie05@aol.com.
