I thought that Uncas and Alice had a beautiful romance going on. I liked it better than the Hawkeye/Cora romance. The reason I liked it better is because of the subtleness and innocence of their relationship. Do you wish they would have focused more on the Uncas/Alice romance..or do you like it just the way it is?

The most amazing thing about the Uncas/Alice relationship is that they didn't exchange a word throughout the movie, yet the viewers still sense a strong connection between the two. I like the subtleness and quiet beauty of their story. I believe the scenes between them that were cut out from the movie are mostly more quiet interaction between the two (like exchange of looks, hugs) and I would certainly like to see those scenes.

i love it the way it is!! It's understated..that's the beauty of it.. but i would love more exchange of looks and that kiss...as it was suppose to be in the original script
I loved the Uncas/Alice love story, I wish that the DVD had the deleted scenes on them. There was a love scene filmed between the two of them but it was left out cause the director didnt want it to over shadow the Hawkeye/Cora story.
