First of all, sorry about my "not so good english"but hopefully you all undrestand what I want to say...
It's been more than ten years and it's still rocks...
I'm actually wondering how old are you LOTM fans anyway?I'm 24
And when did you see it first time?
I sow it first time two years ago.I've had allready read the book(I think I wos 14 by then)I kind'a liked it(with the old-fashioned language but still...)
I remember that I cryed both times, reading the book and when I sow the movie:In the book when Cora wos killed and in the movie when Alice jumpt from the cliff...
But taken all together I liked movie more than the book

Well I saw the movies well after I read the entire Leatherstocking tales series in high school a very long time ago. I barely remember watching the Randolph Scott version. One of the more interesting versions was a thirteen part series produced by a British television company about 22 years ago. The series was quite true to the book although material was added to fill all thirteen episodes. And yes, I have all 6 1/2 hours on tape. I still chuckle when they portray Hawkeye as "le Long Carabine" with a very short rifle. I do like the latest version with DDL and company. It was well done and certainly fun to watch.

I'm 13...and I love the movie! I could watch it everyday. I first say it when I was 9..my dad called me into the living room to watch it, and within ten minutes of the movie I was COMPLETELY into it. I balled my eyes out in the end, and still do. LOL. Definitely the best movie ever made!
