I have gotton hooked on FOODNETWORK in recent months. The other day I was flipping the channel and ON 40 DOLLARS A DAY came on. She was on location at Lake George in New York. She was taking about some the local places to eat. Of course my first thought was of LOTM. Did anyone else see this?

Oh Lord, Diana - I am a Foodnetwork junky, and cook all the time now and have learned SO much about ingredients and cookware. I love Rachael Ray (she does $40 Dollars a Day and 30 Minute Meals) and Rachael actually grew up in the Lake George area and still has a cabin she resides in today near there!! My other favs are Paula Dean (Paula's Home cooking - NOT for low-cal ideas) and Ina Garten (Barefoot Contessa)!

Hey GG:

I know about these other shows. Miss Paula makes me giggle. She is cute.

What about IRON CHEF? This is a good one too. My favorite IC is the one who wears the red. I do wonder--you think its rigged? I saw an American version filmed from Las Vegas and hosted by William Shatner. That man is everywhere.
