I am getting SO FRUSTRATED writing a long post reply, clicking submit and then losing it all because I did not enter my name and password into the damn form each and every time. It didnt used to be this way. At least I don't recall it did. Doesnt matter if I log in or not. Gotta put that crap in there every time, or you lose your post and get the problem message. And when I forget, remembering how it was instead of how it seems now, I lose an entire long post. Getting to the point it aint worth it. Or is it just me?

Try deleting your cookies from your browser, Bill. Then close your browser & reopen. Log in. That should fix it, I think. Sounds like a burnt cookie. Are you sure you are logged in?
It's not happening to me. If you are logged in, your post should "stick." If not, then, yeah, you'll lose it, although I did that once & clicked "refresh" ... and there it was. |

Actually, now that I think about it, if you are logged in there is no place to enter your name & password on the posting fields. If you can't see the "Quick Reply" box at the bottom of a post, you are not logged in. Either you are forgetting to log in, or it's that cookie thing I mentioned above. |

Sounds like it might be that cookie thing you mention. Either that, or I am losing my mind. Or worse, been laboring under the impression I mistakenly HAD a mind to begin with for 56 years! |

Why, you big old silly! Doc M removed your mind YEARS ago! Don't you remember when Betty dropped you off at the Clinic for a "rest cure" and I told you to close your eyes and breath real deep and you would be transported to Fairy Land, and the next thing you knew it was The New Millenium???

I seem to remember something along that line.........but can't be sure. It's a scientific fact, proven by both Einstein AND Steven Hawking that memory is inversely proportional to volume and frequency of gastric emissions. Meaning, the older you get the more you poot, and the more you poot the less you remember. |
