Can you help us in a major publishing project, or do you know who can?

As a publishing consultant, I have been asked to gather photos of authentic reenactors with all equipment, etc. for a remarkable and artistically outstanding new series of books. These are like nothing you have ever seen, and have never been done on this side of the Atlantic. There are six separate books initially planned for this series.

We will require quality photos of reenactors / all forms of equipment, including weapons, ammunition, clothing, and so forth, representing any of the units that participated in the following battles:

REVOLUTIONARY WAR: Bunker Hill and Yorktown;

INDIAN WARS: Little Big Horn and Horseshoe Bend (Jackson's Tennessee militia, regulars, and Creeks)

CIVIL WAR: Fort Fisher, Bull Run

If you are interested in participating (and we need your help), e-mail me at militarybooks@onemain.com, or call me at 916-941-6896.

SUBMISSION: We will accept your submission of high quality color images, together with a carefully prepared caption for each that describes the item in detail and who owns it. They will be returned when we finish, at our expense (note whether you wish them returned). Please include full contact information and send them to:

Ted Savas, Casemate Publishers, P.O. Box 4527, El Dorado Hills, CA 95762.

By submitting these photos, you agree that we have the right to use them in this project. Full credit will be given if they are used (submission is no guarantee of use), your name will also be listed in the book credits, and we will provide each contributor with two free copies of the finished book. We might also be willing to reimburse expenses of photography, if we agree in advance to do so. Please help us.

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO COPY AND POST THIS ON OTHER BOARDS OR SEND TO ANYONE VIA EMAIL Thank you.
