Thank you very much, Theresa!  I've had a very nice day so far; my husband's daughter & her husband came to town, along with their two children & we've been spending the day having a lovely vist. They came all the way from Albany, GA! It's the first time we've seen them in about four years!
They also brought us a brand new VCR (our old one died!) and I couldn't be happier! Now I have a choice of watching the "original" VHS version of LOTM on the new VCR, or the director's expanded DVD version! Since everybody keeps asking me what I want to do for my birthday, I think it's time I told them: "I WANT TO WATCH LOTM!" |

Hey, Rich!
Thanks for thinking of me on my birthday! As it turns out, I finally had a few hours of peace & quiet this evening, with the house all to myself & I was successful in setting up the new VCR. That by itself was easy; the hard part was hooking up the TV, DVD & VCR all together, so that they all worked correctly!  Anyway, after everything was all hooked up, I christened the new VCR by watching my beloved tape of LOTM! I was an audience of one (well, there were two of us if you count my cat!) but I loved every minute of the movie, as always. Next on my agenda: going to see GONY! |

It's funny...the years keep adding up on the calendar but in my heart, I still feel about 10 years younger than I really am! I'll keep reminding myself of that as I raft/swim/float down the Nolichucky again in June! ROTFLMAO! Care to share a raft?!
