PHOENIX -- The Arizona House on Monday voted for a provision that would require President Barack Obama to show his birth certificate if he hopes to be on the state's ballot when he runs for reelection.
The House voted 31-22 to add the provision to a separate bill. The measure still faces a formal vote.
It would require U.S. presidential candidates who want to appear on the ballot in Arizona to submit documents proving they meet the constitutional requirements to be president.
Phoenix Democratic Rep. Kyrsten Sinema said the bill is one of several measures that are making Arizona "the laughing stock of the nation."
Mesa Republican Rep. Cecil Ash said he has no reason to doubt Obama's citizenship but supports the measure because it could help end doub

Hey MG, did you notice the 'peaceful' protests against this very senisible law? I witnessed examples of Criminal Mischief, Aggravated Assault and Terroristic Threats against both the supporters of the law and the police present to protect the peace. Now what is really predictable is the 'mainstream' media coverage where they used terms like, "A mostly peaceful protest...", but the Tea Party protests were filled with 'hateful' and 'dangerous' rhetoric...
Now let us compare yet again, the conduct of those protests on the Left, versus those protests on the Right. We recently had a 'Tea Party' protest here in Pittsburgh, and for the over two-thousand present we only needed several Patrol Officers and one Patrol Supervisor. The uniform of the day was the Class-B Service Dress (long-sleeve, w/ necktie); and the only specialty unit present was from the Mounted Division (who were present mostly for PR purposes, since kids love horses), who also wore Service Dress. We had no arrests, and no need for any physical force. The 'protestors' were very polite and congenial, and just like in D.C., they left the area cleaner than it was when they arrived...
...Over to the protests in Arizona, where there were many more cops needed for fewer protestors (around 1,000); and they were required to deploy in their Riot Uniform, because of the predictibly poor behavior of the Left-Wing protestors. I don't know how many arrests were made, but I can tell that there were far more than any Tea Party gathering! And the damage and filth left in the wake of this Marxist 'temper tantrum' from these animals will certainly guarantee some overtime for the guys from Public Works!
But according to the Cultural Marxists of the Democrat Party (including our Undocumented President, the Marxist Man-Child himself), it is us on the Right who are a 'threat'.
