Did anyone catch the clip yesterday where Obama was speaking and while reading from the teleprompter he said the words Navy CORPESman several times...rather than pronouncing it correctly. It sounded like the Navy Servivemen were dead. Kinda reminded me when Gomer Pyle was excited about joining the United States Marine CORPES!...and being from the same town as our friend Gomer, I can say that.

Are you kidding? He actually said that? I thought he was an educated man.

I understand it is easy to mispronounce words. I do it all the time! However, that is a basic word that everyone is familiar with, and he must hear it all the time in his circles. I can see a slip of the tongue once, but several times?

Yes I did, and I was embarassed for him (since I know that his ego would not permit him to be embarassed himself). He also seemed more concerned with the fact that the sailor was a Haitian-born 'corpse-man', as opposed to an American Navy sailor... Then again, I'm still waiting to find out where our 'Undocumented President' was really born.

The question of his education also remains, since like his certified birth certificate and Selective Service Registration (required for all male citizens, 18-26 years of age), his post-secondary educational transcripts are also hidden from public review. As I noted before, he is our 'Undocumented President'; and he has an actual alias as well!!! (AKA- Barry Sotero)

Hey Sarge, isn't it Soetoro? Gotta get the name right, after all he is the president. Sort of.

Actually Fitz, I've seen it spelled a couple of different ways, but it is hard to verify which is correct. At least he got the spelling right on the name he was sworn-in under, which was Barack Hussein Obama.

...In some ways he is no different then some of the people I deal with for a living. His background is mostly unverifiable, he can't keep his facts straight, he projects blame, and he is known by more than one name.

Lots of things are hard to verify. But I have always heard that if you are married under a false name in SC, you are still legally married. Maybe it works that way for being president, too.
