Hooray for Massachusetts! Who would have thought that they'd ever pull off such a change in the political wind?!

Huzzah! How fitting for the 'Revolution' to begin there.....again.

Life's journey is not to
arrive at the grave safely
in a well preserved body,
but rather to skid in sideways,
totally worn out, shouting
'...holy sh*t ...what a ride!'

I couldn't believe it! Amazing. Is this perhaps the beginning of a long good-bye and good-riddance to the Kennedy Dynasty and their supporters?? I sure hope so.

Even though I am certain that the late Sen. Ted Kennedy voted several times yesterday, it was still not enough to close the 90K + gap. With GOP advances in New Jersey, Virginia and now Massachusetts (Yep, and unlike Coakley's folks, I can spell it correctly), I can only hope that our 'Undocumented President' will continue to campaign for Democrats in the coming year...

Huzzah for the PEOPLE's SEAT, from the Bay State!!!

Just an awesome development. I guess the astroturf just turned into grassroots. Wake up, Obama! Shame on this Congress for so blantantly ignoring the will of the people.

Living in southern New Hampshire a LOT of Mass radio & tv stations are heard in this neck of the woods, - unfortunately. To hear some of her political ads - you'd swear she was running against George Bush. - He and Cheney are mentioned all the time. It's a sad comment when you have to avoid running on what YOU believe in, - 'cause you'd get creamed.

6) The momentum of the Tea Party: Dismissed as a fringe phenomenon in the spring of 2009, the anti-tax Tea movement gained great visibility in a series of marches against the stimulus, the health care bill and the Washington of Obama in general. The party claimed at least partial credit for overthrowing Democratic regimes in New Jersey and Virginia in the fall, then turned with renewed vigor to its crusade in the commonwealth, pumping money and energy into the late phase of Brown's campaign. The win in Massachusetts is the perfect setup for the Tea movement's planned convention in Nashville in early February. Think there's any chance that the newly minted Sen. Brown will be there?

I'm glad Brown won. There is still a chance to defeat the bill!

Let's not forget that great quote from the movie "Edge of Darkness" (spoken by more than one actor), "Everything is illegal in Massachusetts!"
