... Showing up on the Calendar, that is!!! Happy Birthday, Chris!!!! Are you getting any younger?
Boy, am I glad you're still here ... it's been awhile, eh? For those of you newer to the Board, here's a peek waaaay back: Age & Mohican Mania posted back on the old Board just about exactly 5 years ago. [In my haste, I couldn't find the original post ... but this ought to do. Read the threads that developed as a result! Good for a laugh or two!]

RICH!!! HOW COULD YOU START THIS TOPIC AND EMBARRASS ME IN PUBLIC???
I am sitting here red-faced and embarrassed. Today is not my birthday. It took me three tries to mess that little calendar thingy up in the first place, and I still can't fix it.
Rich, you know me well enough to know: 1. If there is any way to screw something up on the computer, I will find it, and 2. I was NOT born in 1989 (or did you think it said 1889?) :O)
Anyway, I can make the little calendar say SEPTEMBER 16, 1943, but how do I make it show that on my profile? Every time I go back to the calendar, it shows Dec. 16, 1989, again. Any help anyone can give me, I would appreciate, and I'm sorry for the mixup.

Well, I was all set to scold you for not following directions - the thing is tricky; folks at other Snitz Forums seem to have the same troubles sometimes - but, alas, I tried to fix it for you & it does the same thing you described! Hmmm ... on mine, too! Yet, I see Diane B. has it properly set. Will seek out info & try to get it fixed!!! When no date is selected, it defaults to 13 years ago - the minimum age to register ... seems it's doing that irregardless ...

OK, I figured it out ... nothing's wrong.
The Procedure:
- Go to Profile
- Click on the "Datepicker"
- Enter the Month & Year ---> Press "Go"
- Click on the day in the Calendar
We did all that, right?
THEN, click on the "Submit" button at the bottom of the Profile page to submit the changes! That's the part we were forgetting - you & I, anyway, Chris! |
