Ok I guess it's time to post a little note about the 2003 Raffle.
I am hoping to make this one, one of the best ever. So in doing I just wanted to put out a reminder that while you are out doing your Christmas shopping to keep an eye out for items you can donate. We would really like to keep with the theme (if possible, but don't limit yourself). Anything Indain, Longhunter or that time period is greatly needed. Also I believe that everyone enjoyed the state related baskets that were brought last year. Anyone wanting to do this would be greatly apprecated. And I sure do welcome any ideas anyone would like to share.
Thanks ahead of time. And I will continue to post reminders for all of you.

Yes, Cherie! We need stuff!
To reiterate, some ideas of suitable contributions:
- Anything Mohicans-related, of course ... books, CDs, Videos, posters, etc. etc.
- Period items & accoutrements - whether colonial, British, French, or Indian
- State/Country/ethnic baskets of goodies - fill a basket with items representing your little corner of the world!
Be creative! Anything is ultimately acceptable! Do let Cherie know of anything you will be donating so that she can plan accordingly.
ANYONE CAN CONTRIBUTE - GATHERING ATTENDEE OR NOT!
Consider helping the cause - Proceeds go toward the cost of the Gathering! With our registration fee this year, it is hoped that we'll have enough to cover this year's costs, & the funds raised from the Raffle can go toward still another! |

Hello Again!!!... So far we have recieved word of a North Carolina basket in the works, and also one from Karen Williamson(who will not be able to attend) From Brown County Indiana. Thanks to Diana and Karen for letting me know of those.
Like Rich said the raffle will take place out at the Mohican Games on Saturday. However, I am in hopes that we will be able to set the stuff up the Geneva for all to see. I will be there Tuesday afternoon setting it up. If you want to bring your stuff by then that is great. Or at any vista you can see Marc or myself.
As for buying the tickets, I will carry them with me at all the venues. We will be staying at the Geneva in room #24. (or at least that is what they tell us) You may stop by there and get them. On Wednesday afternoon I will not be going to the Elk Hunt site. I will stay back at the Hotel for anyone who is interested in seeing the raffle items and getting their Tickets.
If you can not attend this years Gathering and have something you would like to donate. (or just don't want to have to bring it with you) Just email me and I will give you my address to send it to.
Thanks again. And happy hunting.

O.K. It's snowing AGAIN!!!!!!!!
So to keep up my spirits I think of the Gathering... Oh and that TIKI BAR
Which then reminds me that while I'm sitting there at the tiki bar with some volunteers (those hard working folks who have offered to help me keep those bar stools from running away) that I'm sitting there trying to sell tickets for the Raffle.
NIGHTMARE TIME!!!! Sell tickets for raffle!!..... But must have things in the raffle. So keep those eyes open for things to bring. And then let me know. Thanks and pray for spring. Cherie

GOOD NEWS!!!!!
I have just received an E-mail from David Wright. The artist who painted Wes Studi. He will be donating a print again this year. I am sure that this will be the high light of the Raffle. I will let you know which print it is as soon as it arrives.....
