GREAT news for this year's Gathering! A favorite Gathering venue from past years, Spirits on the River, is still open!! Although they are in negotiations to sell, the owners anticipate that they will still be around in June. This means that we can once again enjoy this Native American-themed restaurant during our upcoming Gathering.
We will actually be near the restaurant and without dinner plans on both Weds. June 18 and Thursday June 19, so we can pick either night to eat at the restaurant or even both!
All of you who are planning to attend the Gathering, please let me know by either replying to this thread or by private message which you would prefer: to eat at SOTR on Weds. night, Thursday night, or both. We need to know how many people to reserve tables for.
The Gathering is LESS than 2 months away!!! If you haven't registered yet, do it now. Time is running out!
Once again Sharon is working on the t-shirts and will make an announcement about that soon.

Both, Wednesday, Thursday - All are good for me! I just love going there and this is indeed GREAT news - I wish I had thought to go check there when I was in town 2 weeks ago for a meeting. PHEWY!
YAY! YAY! YAY!  
Working on a gathering gadget also - there is so much to choose from these days!!

Both nights sounds good to me.
I like it because it's small, and a great place for us to chat.
The staff are very friendly too.

Hmmm ... I see I am vastly outnumbered, but, possibly too much of a good thing???? I was thinking more alomg the lines of a Mohicans Night At McDonalds!!!!

Hey Sachem!
Well, how many times have we had trouble picking from the menu at SOTR? This way you can try that other dish you've always wanted to try because you'll have two chances!
Of course no one is obligated to eat at SOTR. There are other options of course, but why pass up a good thing?
And I do hope you will be able to join us for at least part of the Gathering. I think you would enjoy the movie studio tour.
Can't wait to see everyone in June!!!

This is a great surprise. I never expected to have the chance to go there again. I think now and then about that wonderful night when Bill Miller was there, when we auctioned off one of his beautiful prints to raise money for Ariel...it was really a magical evening, wasn't it??
Either night would be good for me. Looking forward to it.
