2000+
... visitors to this web site, that is! On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday of this past week! Aberration? The new norm? For sure, it's a first! 4 consecutive days! Over 8,000 different people! And after all this time ...
Remarkable!
Thank you!

Rich, I only wish you and Elaine could receive a nickel for every visit. With that kind of cash you could purchase Chimney Rock Park and the DuPont land and falls!
Finally the rest of the world is discovering this wonderful website. Maybe our family and friends won't consider us crazy anymore being obsessed with the movie and your site. Congratulations on the rising number of visitors even though we all know the number will top itself again and again. Heck, I'm sure a number of us can attest to visiting this site two and three times a day. Once more as we all know -- Rich and Elaine, you've done GREAT!

Rich do you recognize the historical significance of the number 2131? If you are a diehard baseball fan then I suspect you would. That is the number of games it took for Cal Ripken to break Lou Gehrig's streak.

Let's raise the bar and aim higher. My prediction eventually will be 2,632 (Ripken's ended consecutive games played streak) and counting...
Congrats! Vincent

Well, bust my ... good number!!! Hopefully, your prediction will one day come to pass, Vincent!! Moved that way, a bit, yesterday:
Tuesday, September 24: 2,172 Unique Visitors [a NEW all-time high!]
One might wonder, why would we care how many folks come here on any given day. It's not like we gain anything concrete from lots of visits. It's simple, really ... if you paint a painting, you want people to see it; if you write a song, you want people to hear it. Same thing here. It's an "intangible."
