For those of you planning on attending the Spirits On The River dinner and concert with Joanne Shenandoah, PLEASE, if you have not already done so, send me your menu choices ASAP. I need to get these into SOTR so they can do their ordering of mass quantities in plenty of time...so we won't have to wait for our food that evening.

I encourage everyone to attend this event...our evening at SOTR during the 2002 Gathering was magical, and the evening planned for this year should more than live up to bar set in 2002. DO reserve your tickets for this evening NOW...we have a huge "wait list" of non-Gatherers clamoring for tickets to the event and need to release the unsold tickets very soon.

Hey Ann...you have my menu choice but I need to let you know that Claude won't be able to make the Gathering this year. Looking forward to this event....and the food is to die for. See ya in June!

Yes, the food at Spirits On The River is fantastic...and we aren't the only ones who recognize that fact. The Food Network is doing a show spotlighting SOTR, its cuisine and setting...it is filming the week after our Gathering (the owner of SOTR PLEADED with them to film during the Gathering, but it just wasn't possible to reschedule!)and will air this fall.
