I just got through emailing a friend and reminding her that we aren't younguns anymore, so I guess that I will have to be in the latter group
What I want to know is why I haven't seen any races like the "cane hobble" or the "rocking chair race" Those two are my specialties

Me too! I can't wait to see you and meet Rich and Wilderness Woman. I'd love to follow you there! I can't stay the whole week, because I have the Wes Studi gathering to coordinate, but you bet I'm coming to see ya'll. I think I'll go to the first part of the trip. I'd do the Mohican games, but I don't want to show ya'll up. (wink) |

Carter, that is so nice of you to say, and I would love to meet you too! However, I will not be going to the Gathering. It is just not possible for me to go, for several reasons.

Glad to hear that different events in the Mohican Games are OPTIONAL!!! Yours truly will NOT be joinin' in any foot races but I will gladly fling sharp objects through the air!!! That reminds me very much of pre-Gathering One "preparations," where wheel chairs & depends were staples! ... and we didn't even have Mohican Games back then!! |
