Posted - February 03 2003 : 11:29:51 PM Compagnie LeBoeuf will encamp at the park in downtown Franklin(Venango), PA. On August 16th, 1753 the French occupied John Frazier's vacant trading post. In a few years they would build Fort Machault, and would remain in Venango until 1759.

2:00pm: Paul Stillman as Benjamin Franklin
Join Paul Stillman, renowned living historian from ‘Historically Speaking’, as he portrays Ben Franklin, one of our nation’s founding fathers, during the French & Indian War. Bring your chairs and blankets to the bandstand to learn how science, glass, music, and philosophy are only part of Ben’s life.
