I'm actually wondering how old are you LOTM fans anyway?I'm 24 And when did you see it first time? I sow it first time two years ago.I've had allready read the book(I think I wos 14 by then)I kind'a liked it(with the old-fashioned language but still...) I remember that I cryed both times, reading the book and when I sow the movie:In the book when Cora wos killed and in the movie when Alice jumpt from the cliff... But taken all together I liked movie more than the book Nathaniel Cora

Posted - May 20 2004 : 5:30:26 PM I am 23 yrs old and the first time I saw the last of the mohicans was in my parents bedroom with my sister watching the vhs she had bought back in 1993. I was hooked as soon as I saw Eric Schweig! |

Posted - May 18 2004 : 9:03:56 PM I'm 13...and I love the movie! I could watch it everyday. I first say it when I was 9..my dad called me into the living room to watch it, and within ten minutes of the movie I was COMPLETELY into it. I balled my eyes out in the end, and still do. LOL. Definitely the best movie ever made! |

Posted - May 11 2004 : 7:07:33 PM Well I saw the movies well after I read the entire Leatherstocking tales series in high school a very long time ago. I barely remember watching the Randolph Scott version. One of the more interesting versions was a thirteen part series produced by a British television company about 22 years ago. The series was quite true to the book although material was added to fill all thirteen episodes. And yes, I have all 6 1/2 hours on tape. I still chuckle when they portray Hawkeye as "le Long Carabine" with a very short rifle. I do like the latest version with DDL and company. It was well done and certainly fun to watch.
