Posted - March 22 2004 : 9:32:29 PM dude! i wish my ancestors were like that... id love to be part native american.... but i hate love stories with happy endings... like marg says, far too cliche (accent egue [or however you spell that] on the last e) ;) |

Posted - March 21 2004 : 10:51:29 PM My 4x great grandmother, a red haired, blue eyed Scot , Elizabeth Gray, was captured in western Maryland in 1755, the first "official" year of the French and Indian War. Although married at the time, her husband never came looking for her. She chose to stay with the Shawnee during prisoner exchanges, and ended up the wife of my 4x great grandfather, a Shawnee. So I guess that some things turn out alright, after all. Would make a great movie, if I only knew any of the details of their romance.

Posted - March 19 2004 : 05:27:42 AM how wonderful it would be to have a happy ending... but it would be far too cliché! I love it the way it is... |
