What i loved about alice and uncas is that their story broke boundaries..it was a pure love story true and true..it was beautiful seeing them together.

I hope to see a modern-day version of the Uncas/Alice type love story, with a happy ending.

how wonderful it would be to have a happy ending... but it would be far too cliché! I love it the way it is...

My 4x great grandmother, a red haired, blue eyed Scot , Elizabeth Gray, was captured in western Maryland in 1755, the first "official" year of the French and Indian War. Although married at the time, her husband never came looking for her. She chose to stay with the Shawnee during prisoner exchanges, and ended up the wife of my 4x great grandfather, a Shawnee.
So I guess that some things turn out alright, after all. Would make a great movie, if I only knew any of the details of their romance.
