Posted - March 04 2007 : 2:28:47 PM Hmmm...I'm only about an hour's drive from Greensboro. Statesville is pretty darn close too. Maybe I'll check out one of these events. Thanks, Fitz! |

Posted - March 04 2007 : 2:04:44 PM I don't know where you live in NC, but on the weekend of Mar. 17 there is the Battle of Guilford Courthouse in Greensboro, and a month later, on the weekend of April 21, there is a French and Indian event at Fort Dobbs in Statesville. It might be worth checking these out if they are not too far. |

Posted - March 04 2007 : 10:42:50 AM Sounds interesting. And only $40? I'd think about going if I had the $$$ to spend a weekend in NY. And if I wasn't already attending a conference in NC that weekend. My conference won't be nearly as educational, I'm afraid, and we certainly won't get to eat roast buffalo and wild rice pudding. Ah, well.
Thanks for the info, though, Rich. |
