Posted - June 18 2009 : 01:46:04 AM Regardless of your stance on the war in Iraq I would recommend everyone see the HBO film Taking Chance with Kevin Bacon. It is not a political film.
It is not fun to watch; it is important to watch. You won't enjoy watching it but you will never regret having seen it.

I saw it when a theatre in our town offered a free viewing. A Marine reserve unit provided a color guard for the National Anthem and Chance Phelps' mother and stepfather were there and spoke briefly.
It was very moving. |

What a simply powerful, heartfelt, and respectful tribute to one - all, actually - of our fallen warrior heroes. Superb! |
