Hi, all...

I was browsing IMDB in my hours of Spring Break time-killing, and I happened to see a discussion board about a new release of our beloved LOTM.

It comes out May 22, 2007, but no word yet on if and/or how this version will be different from the director's cut. Since it's listed on Amazon for only $9.99, I guess it can't be much, but here's hoping!

Here's the Amazon listing. It's was listing #12 yesterday (3/14), but something seems to have changed on Amazon's site. Maybe you can still find it if you scroll through:

Thank you IG for minding my backup copy for me. It's always a good idea to keep backups offsite in case of catastrophes!

Yeah who wants to bother with tapes anymore, having to fast forward and rewind to get to the right spot. Thanks to a board buddy I have the original on DVD already. They were kind enough to make me a copy. Thanks again P.

Wouldn't it be nice if it was the original on DVD? Then I could have BOTH versions to feed my obsession without bothering with that fuzzy old VHS copy!

It looks like this is the original version, just on DVD instead of VHS.
