Hi, all...
I was browsing IMDB in my hours of Spring Break time-killing, and I happened to see a discussion board about a new release of our beloved LOTM.
It comes out May 22, 2007, but no word yet on if and/or how this version will be different from the director's cut. Since it's listed on Amazon for only $9.99, I guess it can't be much, but here's hoping!
Here's the Amazon listing. It's was listing #12 yesterday (3/14), but something seems to have changed on Amazon's site. Maybe you can still find it if you scroll through:

Wouldn't it be nice if it was the original on DVD? Then I could have BOTH versions to feed my obsession without bothering with that fuzzy old VHS copy!  |

| Yeah who wants to bother with tapes anymore, having to fast forward and rewind to get to the right spot. Thanks to a board buddy I have the original on DVD already. They were kind enough to make me a copy. Thanks again P. |

Thank you IG for minding my backup copy for me.  It's always a good idea to keep backups offsite in case of catastrophes! |
