: Hi all

: I am another great, great, great grandson of General George S. Pickett on my mother's side.  I have a cousin who has done quite a bit of research on him and has found out that he was quite a, ummm, how shall I say this?, uhhh, rascal?

: Apparently he had a reputation for womanizing, drinking, fist fighting, and even founded a KKK clan up in the Oregon region.  He is more well-traveled than most people think and apparently never forgave his superiors for the ill-fated "Pickett's Charge".  

: I would like to learn more about him and if anyone has any suggestions on books about him, I would be very interested.
