: I thought I would drop You folks a line .. I've been hard at work at Mel Gibson's new movie "The Patriot" ( I have a 4am wardrobe call tomorrow this will be short).I just saw some of the rough footage from this movie the other night and was very excited..The long days and early morning calls have been worth it.. I don't know if anyone will see me in it.. I have only four parts so far, (Continental Sgt., Continental Artillery Pvt., British Pvt. and Con.Company Surgeon)but mostly in the background..talked to Mel on Tuesday..been making friends with other Re-enactors and extras..and props(weapons)people..It is due to be released July 4th 2000.. I think it will be a hit..it's not as historically correct as We(re-enactors) would like it to be.. but looks to be a "Great F*cking Movie!" ( direct quote from Mel) Hope you all are doing fine.. I'll check back to see what anyone has to say. oh and Mark Baker taught Mel how to shoot..wasn't sure if that had been discussed here yet..Be Well

Thanks so much for the info, Sgt. Joe Hinson....always appreciate new info on the Patriot...
However, why is it called Hannah's Cowpens...???? is it a landowner named Hannah...or just a landmark.....????
Be well, don't "die" tooooo much...........we might not get more updates..
