Welcomes to the Board

Thanks to Elaine and Champ for their warm welcomes! I won't be discouraged by the recent heated debates - obviously, people with passion visit this site! During my recent visit to NC, my passion was the Chimneys at Linville Gorge by Table Rock. I made the trip twice - the views and tranquility are spectacular. Maybe that spot is on the agenda this weekend.

Champ, I don't know anything about Capt. MacKays Highland Coy but look forward to learning more. My father celebrated his Scottish ancestry by playing bagpipes from 1967 until his death two years ago. Highland games, Burns dinners and various other Scottish events were popular in my family. Have fun making your sporran!
