Sassy Soothsayer was spotted zooming in for a landing just minutes ago, having returned from her day in Mohicanland South, and delivering Miss Adoo Addy safely back to her front door. This Reporter couldn't help noticing that both of these gals were a tad sunburned and mosquito nipped, though they seemed in high spirits. Sassy is quoted as saying they had a "simply spiffy time" whilst picnicking along the shores of the famous St. John's River.
Said Miss Adoo Addy, "Today, I have seen The Alligator, and he has seen ME. I have also TASTED The Alligator, but was able to avoid having HIM taste ME. My sincere thanks to the Sassy Soothsayer for flyin' me down Floridy way to feast on shrimps, gator tail, corn fritters and curly fries...the indigenous food of the locals at Gator Bites Fish Camp. Ummmmmm, yummy! And by the way...what IS Jumbo Shrimp? Is that a great big shrimp, or a little tiny Jumbo?"
When asked by interested spectators if their journey was a dangerous one, Sassy replied, "Some say that's the way of it, what with toothy reptiles & blood-sucking skeeters & venomous snakes & big, tall birds with sharp, pointy beaks, and all; but I'd rather make the gravest of errors than to surrender my own judgement...at least, where dining on french fried gator tail nuggets is concerned!"
I reckon Miss Adoo Addy & the Sassy One think they can just zip on down to Florida any time they want a leetle change of pace in their daily lives. Harummmmmph! The whole escapade smacks of intolerable personal indulgence, if you ask me! Tsk! Riverside picnics and festive flights of fancy in the MIDDLE of the week, without so much as a by-your-leave!! Dis-GUST-ing!!
