Hey there classy lady!

Okay. So I was trying to escape this one! But here you are...

Cut with a sharp knife at least 2 centimeters off of the stalk. Don't cut in a straight line, but cut downwards (sorry, can't seem to find the appriopriate term for this in my dictionary). Remove all leaves that would be hanging in the water. If you have already done that, I am sorry. Then you got bad quality tulips! But you still got class! :))
