You find the strangest stories on the internet. I've been doing some research for awhile on Chief Joseph Brandt, mainly because he and his tribe settled in my part of Ontario. One search turned up a web site with a story about Major General Arthur St. Clair's daughter Luisa and how Joseph Thayendanega (Brandt) became 'smitten' with her. Interesting story.
