Cher Ami and partners,

Sleep? No not for the wicked. I have been very busy negotiating a "accord" with the ghostly Flying Dutchman. I intended to round off talks sooner, but he, being a ghost and living on a ghost ship, turned out to be hard to find. Nevertheless, he has agreed to sail up on the river and create mass hysteria in Mohicanland on D-Day. All it will cost us is 6 bottles of brandy and two eggs of the Icelandic three toed amoebe.

On a different note, I have managed to secure the shipment of Belgian chocolats for your wife. Expect them to arrive soon.
