From the "Never Apologize About Bringing Alice up Again" department... a perspective from a red-blooded American male.

The cliff scene WAS the movie's most touching. But it was painful to me for ANOTHER reason (as some of you already know from previous posts)--I wanted Alice for MYSELF! Had Uncas survived his battle with Magua, he would have found himself against ANOTHER opponent--ME!

Now, I ask you... who do you think would win THAT fight?
