Hi Jo,
It alway's seemed to me, that he just took the knife as a kind of In Your Face type of thing. It seemed he was saying, =We are pissed, and I'm taking this knife. Humph!! I don't think Magua had intentions on doing harm to Alice , at least not at that moment. I believe when he first approached Alice, he realized his knife was threatening to her, and lowered it . Hmmm. A spark of compassion from Magua?? At least, that's the way I saw it. And as far as that play set goes, I will need at least 2 Uncas figures. An extra for when the first wears out. Kathy
