Lou Lou Lou or Lulu...
I use to race my Kawasaki's back in the late 70's down on Cross Bay Blvd. in Brooklyn...
As for the cars I haven't raced them, well maybe some cat and mouse games on occassion...I had my last Vette up to 149 MPH once on the Jones Beach Causway during a late December night a few years ago...it was great not a soul around I think it was Christmas Day night in fact and the digital speedometer just stopped at 149....I think that was all the car had, mind you this was a 95 automatic, I think the rev attentuator reached it's max rpms and it just cut out, the 6 speed manual was supposed to top out at around 160....back in the 70's I had my Kawasaki KZ 1000 up to 119 Mph on the same stretch of road at Jones Beach...as for the Mustang GT Bullitt, I barely have over 1000 miles on it, and have not really got on it yet other than maybe some blasts of highway speeds around 90 or so. Where I live now there are way too many cops and speed traps not to mention traffic, but there are plenty od curvy, twisting, and scenic roads to just cruise which is what I do more of now, especially with the Harley because that was not built for speed although it still is faster than 80 or 90% of most cars on the road.
So I guess you would classify me as a girlie girl wussie driver now wouldn't you...but I still have the " Thrill Seeker " insinct in me and it does come out every once in a while...
" They call me the Seeker,
I won't get to get what I'm after
Till the day I die " . Frankie Bean

Another picture of My Bullitt...
or as we use to say back in Valley Stream...
" Nobody gonna take my car
I'm gonna race it to the ground
Nobody gonna beat my car
It's gonna break the speed of sound
Oooh it's a killing machine
It's got everything
Like a driving power big fat tyres
and everything

I love it and I need it
I bleed it yeah it's a wild hurricane
Alright hold tight
I'm a highway star "

and here it is...The late Great Phil Ochs song;

Oh look oustide the window, there's a woman bein' grabbed,
They've dragged her to the bushes, and now she's bein' stabbed,
Maybe we should call the cops and try to stop the pain,
But Monopoly is so much fun, I'd hate to blow the game,
And I'm sure it wouldn't interest anybody,
Outside of a small circle of friends.

Ridin' down the highway, yes my back is gettin' stiff,
Thirteen cars are piled up, they're hangin' on a cliff,
Now maybe we should pull them back with our towing chain,
But we gotta move, and we might get sued, and it looks like it's gonna rain,
And I'm sure it wouldn't interest anybody,
Outside of a small circle of friends.

Sweating in the ghetto, with the colored and the poor,
The rats have joined the babies, who are sleepin' on the floor,
Now wouldn't it be a riot if they really blew their tops,
But they've got too much already and besides we've got the cops,
And I'm sure it wouldn't interest anybody,
Outside of a small circle of friends.

Oh there's a dirty paper using sex to make her sale,
The Supreme Court was so upset they sent him off to jail,
Maybe we should help the pain and take away his fine,
But we're busy reading Playboy and the Sunday New York Times,
And I'm sure it wouldn't interest anybody,
Outside of a small circle of friends.

Smokin' marijuana is more fun than drinkin' beer,
But a friend of ours was captured and they gave him thirty years,
Maybe we should raise our voices, ask somebody why,
But demonstrations are a drag, besides we're much too high,
And I'm sure it wouldn't interest anybody,
Outside of a small circle of friends.

" This is a really Heavy Number "...

Yeah I was the Fraternity poster boy...especially after the FTW & Iggy
shows, I gave them a reason and just cause to get drunk, get rowdy and want to kill, kill, kill...
You can get anything you want at Alice's Restuarant...
Excepting Alice..,
"I'm 18 and I don't know what I want "...oops wrong Alice so don't feel bad being the wrong Richie...
and East Side Girl that was me you fooled around with at the Green, since I fooled around with everyone there ! btw you practically named every one in FTW or one of the other infamous bands I created to destroy every living thing in sight...
Bean...still rocking in the free and living in the material world.
PS and speaking of code, No Code...Pearl Jam Rocks !

in a Fraternity?
elena Posted - July 25 2003 : 7:59:54 PM
East Side Girl - This isn't a hostile crowd AT ALL! DO YOU HEAR ME?

I am having a blast on this site with people I thought that I would never see or hear from again.

Fooling around with Richie. Well, I am sorry Richie, but I can't help you there. I just remember the days of you and Carla.

By the way Ms. Girl, you are speaking in code also.
richfed Posted - July 25 2003 : 6:47:55 PM
Nah, not hostile, just curious! But, you're holding your own! Don't worry about the "code" thing ... even we don't know what we're talking about!!

Now, to important matters ... whaddaya mean you think we fooled around once at the Green!?! MOI?! I'm a good boy! Right? Bean? Doc? Elena? Someone?

Got me thinkin' on that one ...

So, you can't just leave it there ... who are you? I'll send an e-mail from this board, & see what happens. If it bounces back, I'll send you a PM. If that happens, check your addy.

OK - WELCOME!!!!

How's that?

This seems to be a hostile crowd! It's been a long while. I lived in Malmo, Sweden, and then Malta for quite a number of years (A long story, of course it involved following some jerk). Anyway, I took your suggestion and looked at the photos. What you guys don't realize is that to an outsider you are speaking in code. You all know one another and all of the nicknames. Not everyone else does. I knew Richie F. (I think we fooled around once at the Green when he worked at the microfilm factory). I also recognized Arthur, Louie and that other cute guy that used to hang around with Louie. There is a photo of a "Dink" (another cutie) I recognize you but don't recall the name Dink. Sorry Frank, I still don't think I knew you. Did you used to hang out with the Palazollo twins? Were you in Alpha Nu Theta? I;m trying. And yes. I was at Central but did not graduate from there. Also, I don't know why my email address bounced.
Bean Posted - July 25 2003 : 11:00:35 AM
Thanks Lou, maybe Elena and me got it all wrong and you are not an alien spy who came to this planet disguised as mild mannered Andy Kauf...errrr I mean Louie Dolci, able to smash drum kits in a single beat, but rather the guardian angel of all those who have graduated Valley Stream Central during the glory years...and sorry if I bite in to you every now and then, I'll be looking for you my hero later on my chicken cutet hero...
" Celluoid Heroes never feel any pain and Cellulod Heroes never really die "...so I guess I can bite down hard because you will just bounce back to life like a cartoon character...I mean look what Popyee and Pluto use to do to each other just to win Olive Oils affection and they never got hurt...
" I wish my life was a non-stop Hollywood Movie show "...
Although sometimes I feel like it is !
