Officially the Fort closed for the season October 29th 2023. There are still two "fund raising" events to go before this year ends. - The annual "Harvest Dinner" November 18th (a BIG) fund raiser & the "Winter Holiday Market & Wassail" on November 25th - something new. ... Today it was very windy & pretty cool & the turnout was really low today. - Tomorrow's forecast is better - let's hope.

I heard that the roofing is about finished. The Pequawket Alliance had their annual meeting there not long ago.

It's finally finished Fitz - except one "lean-to" - which has some rotten beams & is being replaced next year. - If you look closely at the roofs (top pic) - they're all new, finally. ... The first event in 2024 is in February - the annual "Winter Weekend" - looking forward to it.
