Prior to the invasion of Iraq, I remember hearing on talk radio predictions by "Pro-war" talk-show hosts that there would be few casualties overall, and not even many Iraqi military casualties, since the Iraqis wouldn't fight. That line of reasoning was intended to answer concerns by "Anti-war" callers that the war would cause do more harm than good to Iraqi citizens.

I would appreciate you posting links to such predictions, so that I can document for myself the optimism that prevailed at that point in time.
