In the interview with Eric, he mentioned a couple of times how Daniel (and Madeleine) were treated like "the stars" of LOTM. I got the distinct impression that he resented this. Does anyone know if they got on well?

I believe, based on the long conversations we had, that he did resent this - at the time - but had come to grips with it as a reality of commercial filmmaking by the time we spoke ['97-'99].
DDL & Eric Schweig had no riffs, that came to our attention anyway, but shared a distant brotherly type of relationship. DDL, for the most part, remained fairly aloof from all as he did what he does - stay in character all the time. There were, though, moments of goofing off!

There were quarrels on set, but I never heard of one between Eric & Daniel. |
