Great weather, LOTTA folks, with units from N.H., R.I. & Mass. - The new roof on the "Great Hall" has been started, should be ready by the "Harvest Dinner" this Fall - no small task or cost. - The original "Hastings House" that was donated by one of the original settlers descendants - was actually disassembled & stored in town. Good to see things are happening at #4. I think the Pequawkets were at another site this weekend, but they don't do Rev War anyway. At least I don't think they do.

I don't recall seeing the Pequawets at any event there - except F&I War events. - The Fort HAS TO do what they call - "Out Of Time" events, no other way to generate the much needed income. There are annual Viking, Civil War, Revolutionary War plus two Abenaki events. - There's also a "Masked Ball" (put on hold by Covid) plus a "Harvest Dinner" finally back this year. - The "Harvest Dinner" is the REAL money marker - everything is donated by local markets etc. & volunteers provide any & all the labor to pull it off - the "Great Hall" is packed ...
