Sorry to hear that. I have not been there in some years. I was thinking about going this summer now that things seem to have opened back up.

Yeah, another little piece of MohicanLand is gone. Every time I went to Linville my mind sort of hesitated as I came around the bend in the trail. I knew one day it would be gone. I wonder if it cracked and fell upon the trail or if the rangers just decided it was time to go.

Hard to say.. but it looks quite recent. I’m sure it had become a safety hazard, whether or not it fell or cracked or whatever. But yeah.. sad to see that.
