Many are rightfully concerned.

Yet compared to the Indians at Wounded Knee, we are fortunate. As Indians have been rebuilding there cultures, US culture will rebuild. Native Americans can teach us patience, if we will listen.

We become what we think about.

While rebuilding their culture might be a noble & good idea - I doubt much patience is involved.

Monadnock Hiker, I agree with your comment!

A better phrasing for me would have been "Native Americans display persistence in rebuilding their cultures. The US has much to learn from them".

Persistence is much more applicable to these situations than patience.

We become what we think about.
