French and Indian War Encampment
June 6th & 7th 2015
Reenactors/Living Historians personifying British and French troops, rangers, militia, camp followers (family members, artificers, etc.), Native Americans and sutlers gather to recreate the sights and sounds of the French and Indian War.
Included during this two day event are:
tactical battle reenactments (1:30 PM both Saturday and Sunday)
open hearth cooking
18th century style camp cooking
baking in our beehive oven
blacksmithing
textile production
joinery
Schedule of Encampment
Saturday, June 6th
10:00 AM Gates open to the General Public
(Admission Tickets Available Online or at Entrance)
1:30 PM Tactical Battle
3:00 PM CHICEN BBQ
4:30 PM the Fort Closes for the Day
Sunday, June 7th
10:00 AM Gates open to the General Public
(Admission Tickets Available Online or at Entrance)
11:00 -11:45 AM Morning Prayer Service from the 1662 book of Common Prayer
1:30 PM Tactical Battle
3:00 PM Camps Breaks
3:30 PM the Fort Closes for the Day
