This was the best movie I have watched in a very long time. I thought it was just awesome. It is a true story set in Iran in 1986. Missing all of Hollywood's indulgences, it is simply a good story, well told. Understated; compelling; intelligent; well-acted; powerful; moving.

It's the type of movie that leaves you pondering it for days afterward. There is a major scene toward the end that is hard to watch; it is so realistic, but it had to be there to give the film it's punch. I was engrossed - completely immersed - from beginning to end.

This is not a light-hearted, feel-good movie. Be forewarned! It is, though, well worth a look.
