What a cutie pie! And she was almost a New Year's day baby! Congrats to your son and his family and also to you. Maybe this will be the year for little girl babies. Everyone, including myself, had little boys in 2009. |

| She's cute. And already wearing the Bourbon color. A future French reenactor, no doubt! |

Thanks, everyone! Glad you all agree with me!
Yes, she is their first child. But, she is not my first grandchild. My daughter has a son, Isaiah, who is 2-1/2. |

Oh my gosh! Already, Red??? Wow!
I also need to make a correction. Her name, I found out later, is actually Jade Olivia Marie. I didn't know they were going to continue our family tradition of 2 middle names. I am very pleased. The Marie is a name in my family -- my grandmother and my mother both had the middle name Marie. I gave it to my daughter for one of her middle names, and now my granddaughter also has it.
Also, they continued the "J" trend for first names. I am Joyce; my son is Justin; my daughter is Jocelyn; Justin's fiance' is Julia; and now we have Jade. My daughter tried to find a "J" name she liked for my grandson, but couldn't. So he is Isaiah. I call us "Isaiah and the Five Js." Good name for a rock band, don't you think? |
