I am wondering if there is still a multi-front war against Pan-Islamic Terrorists going on? During the years that President Bush was in office, nightly body counts, with faces and names, were all part of the mainstream medias daily drumbeat. It seems now that the media's own presidential candidate is in office, the war coverage has been toned-down to almost a side-bar issue. Also, now that President Obama is in office, where is all the coverage of the anti-war protests? The very same ones which we were subjected to for the last eight years?

Just something to think about...

From another board, ...
.
Where's Code Pink and the other anti-war mongerers?

Where's Murtha's rants against our military?

I understand the BIC (baboon in chief) is sending another 20,000 soldiers to Afghanistan. Where's the cries of the anti-surge bunch?

And, what about this forbidden word:

Well I have to take offense at refering to Obama as the 'Baboon In Chief', but not for the usual Left-Wing whiny reason. I take offense to that title, because baboons are noble, strong, selfless and protective creatures, who serve a valuble purpose throughout their lives; and therefore they have nothing in common with President Barack Hussein Obama.

...Now you could call President Obama the 'Commie In Chief', and it would not only be true to his politics, but it would keep with the whole 'CINC' motif as well

Well, I think that MG just made a slip-of-the-tongue.... er... fingers. I am quite sure he really meant to say "Buffoon in Chief."

WW, I knew that he copied it from another bloggers posting; but the again, even a 'buffoon' would be a pleasant change from what is currently running the Executive and Legislative branches of government

...I've said it before, but it is worth repeating, that I will be so glad when the adults get back 'home' to D.C., and stop the adolescent 'rave-party' currently going on there!

Or, maybe, it's simply Barrack-in-Chief. It seems to be all about him.

Very curious point you brought up here, Sarge. The media's bias exposed again.

The U.S. military is at war but America is not at war. America is at the mall.

I can confirm this. I was there a few days ago and saw it.

Not to change the subject but, that surprises me. No one really goes to the malls around here anymore except at Christmas. Actually, for a nice quiet shopping experience, the mall is the place. There's just no one in the stores or hanging around the mall and I don't know how the stores stay open. I think most of the chains have online branches where most of the money is being made.
