Hello:
I am looking for information and documentation on Mohican Warrior dress during the French and Indian War and the Revolutionary War. Anybody have any ideas?
Thanks
Chris

I guess you are referring to the Stockbridge Mohicans that served with that rascal Robert Rogers? |

They also served as scouts during the revolutionary war primarily for the Light Infantry. But yes...I am referring to the Stockbridge Mohicans. |

Volumes have been written about Robers and I am sure there are references contained in them. While I don't know any details, I would suspect they were dressed as white people, much the same as the Catawba in this area.
Interesting, but not much help in what you are looking for:

I have one reference to the dress of 1 specific mohican during the Revolutionary War but still need more to go on. I appreciate the Rogers Reference. I had not thought to look in his references. I guess it's off to the books.
Thanks for the help.
