That's my Daniel, all right! He'll probably never win an award for "Best Dressed Man" - but his lack of fashion sense is just another one of the things about him that endears him to me.
Obviously, he's no more interested in dressing to impress, than he is interested in taking just any old movie role that is offered to him.

And have you seen some of the pictures of him with his wife Rebecca? She can be just as "off-beat" in her style of dress as Daniel!

Dan has been giving a LOT of interviews lately - both on camera and in print - and in all of them, he comes across as a very eloquent, intelligent, soft-spoken, and humble man who is also very down-to-earth and genuine. He certainly has not allowed his success to go to his head and sometimes I wonder if Dan "dresses" the way he does because he sees himself as "a regular guy" & he wants others to see him that way, as well???

Whatever his reasons for his (ahem!) "taste" in clothes, I would love nothing more than an opportunity to meet this man someday, so that I can tell him what an amazing actor he is & thank him for the wonderful performances he has given to the world.

Here's to Daniel!

Well, considering the ins and out of German fashion, he probably looked quite "normal" in that outfit.

Just noticed he does have very skinny legs. Dressing like that sure gets you noticed. Reminds me of Johnny Depp who also likes to dress really "weird".

Daniel could at least take his hands out of his pockets for the pic.

I think it's the hat that does it for me. I could live with the western style shirt and belt, and even the red plaid Mackinaw. But the hat? No.

Well, my relatives are German, so I know what you mean. When I was a kid it was always amusing to see what my cousins were wearing when we would visit them. They used to think all Americans were cowboys too!
