Hey folks,

In March, on the 8th and 9th, I'll be with my fellow Alamo buffs reenacting the famous Battle of the Alamo infront of the Shrine itself. Hundreds of Texans come to watch and learn and quite frankly, I feel like a celebrity for a day. Last year being my first time participating in any reenactment, I look forward to it again! I had the best time last year, being the only one in a coonskin cap portraying young Richard L. Stockton.

Here's how I looked last year.

Here's part of my outfit for the event, this year.

There's only one problem. Before now, the only piece of clothing I owned was the coonskin cap. Everything else was borrowed. I was fortunate to have received the coat, vest, cravat, etc., as a Christmas gift from a friend. All I am missing now are the appropriate trousers.

I am looking for fall front trousers like these, possibly in a light brown, chessnut color.

The thing is, finances aren't what I'd wish they'd be. A good portion of the money I've earned from working as a waiter has gone to my trip to San Antonio, Texas. Also, it's too late to have a custom pair made for me. So, I thought I'd ask, since we have several reenactors here, if any of you had a spair fall front trouser laying around that you'd be willing to donate? Just wondering, as I want to be as accurate as I can to portray Daniel Cloud, the lawyer-sentry who was in David Crockett's company at the Alamo.

All the best and thank you!

~Wade
