I have the video and the dvd. I was watching the dvd last night, the scene where they are escaping in canoes Duncan is pointing a gun at Nathanial and says his lines but Nathanial has said nothing. In the video Nathanial has his lines then Duncan says his..it makes much more sense. Why would this be cut out?

O'Siyo,
I believe on the old Mohican forum, when the dvd came out this was mentioned. Several of Hawkeye's lines are gone, I think it was in an attempt to make him appear less of a smart alek.
You'll notice they tweaked with lines here & there (not just Hawkeye's)... after watching the video version so much, some makes sense & some just bugs me by their absence ;-)
