Wow, am I ever hooked on this show! I don't have cable, so I had to wait till the DVD release to see it. I watched six episodes today. That leaves two more to the entire show, I think.
Now, I know there are some other Deadwood fans out there in Mohicanland. What did you guys and gals think about Season 3? Better than previous seasons? (Just don't spoil the last two episodes for me. I've got to wait on Netflix to send me the last disc!)
So far, my favorite episode of the season is the one with Dan Dority vs. the Captain. Aaaagh! I was on the edge of my seat during that fight. (And I did some squirming and crying "ick" too. ) It looked so real, not like those ridiculous fight scenes that show two guys hard punching each other for ten minutes without any damage. These guys actually looked beat. I think it's the most realistic fight sequence I've seen on TV.

| My cousin is a four time black belt and his brother a six time, they said they think they are really beating each other. Not acting. |

| Thursday we watched "Live Free or Die Hard." For those of you who are unaware, the main villain is played by Deadwood's Timothy Olyphant. He doesn't do too bad a job, but, man o man, he sure looks weird without his moustache! I didn't even recogize him till he spoke! |

The gal who played Calamity Jane is in the new TV series, "Life". Almost didn't recognize her either. |

I have been dying to see this series because my son has raved about it. However everytime I'm at the library they seem to have all the dvd's except the very first one! I check everytime I go, but so far no luck. I guess I'll have to rent it or try to find it online somewhere. |
